You can find almost anything on Facebook nowadays.
You can find a job, join a group, get connected with friends, and find new places and events popping up all over the world. In my case, I started searching on job boards to teach abroad in Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
After searching for 2 weeks, an ad popped-up in my News Feed for Angloville – a unique volunteer opportunity in Europe to be a part of a cultural exchange program and teach English.
It instantly caught my attention and, to be honest, I applied for the program before really looking into everything. I was sold immediately on the program.
They provide accommodation, meals, and transportation to your sessions, you get to build connections with your students and your team of volunteers, and you have the opportunity to earn your TEFL certification.
- your transportation to each country and meeting point and any travel you want to do between sessions is not included
- Travel insurance
- Any meals or attractions outside of the program
Whew, that a lot to offer!
Within less than a weekof applying for the program, I had already received a phone call to set up an interview for the next day. I accepted the volunteer position and I got to select where I wanted to go to teach based on my availability!
Where can you go?
Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Malta, England, and Ireland
I chose to volunteer for 3 weeks split between Poland, Hungary, and Malta this coming July and August!!
I also added on the Anglo-TEFL scholarship. For volunteers who are registered to teach for 3 or more weeks, you have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship program to earn your TEFL certification as well!
The scholarship program is a partnership between Angloville and Premier TEFL. You get 3+ weeks of real teaching experience in Europe and a 120-hour Advanced TEFL certificate to move forward with your teaching passion.
I was completely sold on this opportunity!
But, how much does it cost??
Cost was a huge determining factor when deciding whether I truly wanted to take on this opportunity. However, I was very impressed with the program, even the cost.
I paid €69 for 3 weeks of teaching AND a 120-hour Advanced TEFL course (worth over €380 in the course alone!!). And after successfully completing my certificate and my teaching experience in Europe, I am refunded €45 from that original €69 spent!
I only spend €24 for 3 weeks of teaching (accommodation and meals included) and my 120-hour TEFL course!! This was a steal and I couldn’t pass up this amazing opportunity to travel, teach and advance myself in my career to continue teaching abroad full-time!
I earned my TEFL ceertification, and so can you!
If teaching and traveling are passions you want to explore more, I highly recommend you jump on this amazing offer and make your dreams come true!
